Journey on a Viking ship

We encountered an unusual sight when we arrived in Trinidad - the Viking ship "Drakar." When owner Roberto took the ship on a test sail, we used the opportunity to capture the adventure on film.
Brazilian Roberto Olivera built a replica of the Gokstad Viking ship in 3.5 years of hard work. The result is worth a look - a 24 m long square-rigger weighing about 40 tonnes. We were there when "Drakar" the dragon hoisted its new, larger square sail for the first time. The film can be seen here.
